As a member of our team in Chania, you’ll support local projects across the residential and commercial sector, including residential houses, luxurious properties, hotels, real estate research projects and more.
You’ll be joined by our skilled engineers, collaborating over the entire lifecycle of a project – from idea, concept and design, to operation and maintenance within our portfolio complex structures, ground engineering and renovation projects.
DESIGN THE FUTURE WITH A DEDICATED TEAM OF EXPERTS
In this position, you’ll join our team of experts and work closely with the civil engineering team in our offices in Chania, Crete. Reporting to the Technical Director you’ll be responsible for technical deliverables including calculations and design work.
On a day-to-day basis, you’ll be responsible for:
- Interacting with a team of engineers and project supervisors
- Detailed design and analysis of new and existing structures in concrete, steel, timber and masonry
- Support project management from feasibility to detailed design, including all technical, programme and cost monitoring
- Ensuring that design, assessments and checking of designs are in accordance with the current Standards, Codes of Practice and Best Practice
- Review/checking/approval of designs, assessments and calculations in accordance with quality procedures
- Client liaison and management

To succeed in this position, we believe that you should be a team player with excellent English communications skills, both written and verbal.
- Be a Civil Engineer: CEng or MICE
- Have design experience in civil and structural engineering projects
- Be familiar with Greek standards and equivalent Eurocodes
- Have sound understanding and experience in the application of the CDM Regulations and the Greek Civil Code
- Be able to lead technical input
- Working knowledge of open-source software (FreeCAD, Blender, OpenSCAD)
- Have excellent communication skills (oral and written) with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
