David Steven, originally from Victoria’s surf coast, has relocated his passion for water to the serene beachside community of Yamba, in New South Wales. He developed his skills through an apprenticeship in Melbourne, along with a furniture design course and participation in various woodworking and chairmaking workshops. In 2017, David’s commitment and skill were acknowledged with the prestigious CMDA Apprentice Cabinet Maker of the Year award.
